Got Community? We’re creating a community (for people just like you) to share ideas, best practices, and thoughts on accounting industry happenings.  In anticipation of the mid-summer launch of Xcentric’s community forums (code name: beanpot), I thought it best to give you a preview of what’s to come:

  • Topical discussion forums (audit, tax, practice, technology, firm admin…)
  • Blogs
  • Wiki based best practices libraries
  • Member to member communication
  • Document repositories
  • Events calendar
  • Industry announcements

We need a less creative, more politically sensitive name for the community forums.  So we are turning to YOU for ideas.

A cool new Amazon Kindle will go to the person who comes up with the best name for the forum.

I actually like “BeanPot” which I initially misread as “BeanSpot” – which I also like. If that too is deemed too insensitive, maybe something like – “BeanScene” or “BeanTeam”…not sure why “Bean” has a negative connotation! :) Mary
