A new iPhone app links customers to Intuit’s popular Web-based small business accounting software. Now you can check current bank and credit card balances, track who owes you money (and who you owe), find customer contact info, and even run balance sheets and profit and loss reports. (While free, QuickBooks Online costs $9.95/month.)
It is so dumb they don’t have a MAC compatible version for Online. + they want users to have IE6, which is super old at this point.
Wow. They want users to have IE6? That is bad news. Many forerunners on the web are dropping support for IE6. Google, for example urged Gmail users to drop it.
On a side note, I have come across a Quickbooks alternative called Less Accounting. It is purely web-based.
Quickbooks Online works on other browsers including Safari, so it works fine on a mac..:)
